Where You Can Meet the Bubble Rings of Happiness: Shimane Aquarium Aquas
Aquas is the Chugoku region's largest aquarium, displaying the first beluga whales in Western Japan. They daily perform the popular show “Bubble Rings of Happiness.” Additionally, you can enjoy watching four different kinds of penguins dive and swim from the underground observation room. Other exhibits include the popular sharks and stingrays seen from the underwater tunnel way, as well as the starfish and sea urchin petting tanks. Oasis of Water and Forest: Komosawa Park
Located five minutes away by car from Asari Beach is Komosawa Automobile Camping Site, playground and skateboard park. On weekends you will find a festive atmosphere with children and adults alike. Additionally at Komosawa Pond, you can enjoy bass fishing.
